Lisa Moffa- UnFranchise Owner | | Hey--I just wanted to let fellow FS fans in the USA can watch a new show called Fun Shui. I think it debuted last Friday and tonight I'm off to a lecture from the tv show host.
There's info on their website, www.hgtv.com. Check it out! And look for viewing times...might be online too?

Nice to hear from you again. Just met the host of the show last Thursday at a HolisticMoms meeting. Stephanie is awesome, she's even modest enough to say that she's continually learning new application and her concept of FS design is very nicely done! She keeps it free of mythology and just uses the color, placement and shape principles. Very customized to the space and great for national tv. (very green minded too!) Go to: www.evolvingarts.com

I agree this is a great show ~ very aptly named “fun shui” instead of “Feng Shui" as the host Stephanie deals mainly with the new age feng shui, and dabbles only a tad bit in Classical Feng Shui – but that’s part of what makes the world interesting – everyone’s personal twist on this ancient art!
Since the show’s made to appeal to a large audience, it’s helpful that she focuses only on a very limited part of Feng Shui ~ it could get way too complicated to produce show like this following many of the traditional principles and formulae used in Classical Feng Shui.
By simply concentrating on color and shapes related to Feng Shui, the show is packed with great decorating ideas. I enjoyed the show, Stephanie is very charming, and like Linda... I really love HGTV!
I’m looking forward to watching more of this show.
